Site Reliability / Production Engineer

Respond to live incidents by establishing customer impact, investigating system state using logs and metrics, and executing proportionate mitigations such as rollbacks or repairs while validating recovery with real evidence. Supervise AI tools throughout triage and diagnosis, ensuring conclusions are checked against actual outcomes rather than accepted blindly. Coordinate responses by bringing in product teams for deep knowledge or material decisions, protecting developers from routine pages, and producing clear incident records for handover. When incidents are quiet, improve reliability by reducing alert noise, strengthening monitoring around customer outcomes, creating runbooks, and automating repeated work. Share a seven-day UK out-of-hours rotation covering 17:00–01:00 and weekday pager duty from 01:00–06:00. This role supports Storyteller's high-growth B2B SaaS platform, which integrates Stories into apps for global sports and media brands.
