Site Reliability Engineering Lead (Local Development Centre)

Job Summary
Lead reliability engineering, monitoring, observability, and operational support for Leidos' Local Development Centre in Singapore. Provide technical leadership to site reliability engineers, establish reliability standards and SLOs, drive automation and operational excellence, mentor engineers, and collaborate with software, infrastructure, DevSecOps, systems integration, cybersecurity, and test teams to improve system reliability and performance. Support knowledge-transfer activities, training, workshops, and ensure environments meet reliability, availability, performance, and maintainability requirements; engage in co-development with customer engineers and partners across Singapore and the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree as listed in Job Requirements
- 7+ years of Site Reliability Engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, operations, or related disciplines
- Experience leading operational or reliability engineering teams on complex technology programs
- Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, performance management, incident response, and service management practices
- Experience mentoring engineers and supporting knowledge transfer, workforce development, training, technical capability development
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional engineering teams
- Proficiency in English and one or more regional languages is desirable
- Candidates with existing authorization to work in Singapore
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, operations, or related disciplines
- Experience leading operational or reliability engineering teams on complex technology programs
- Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, performance management, incident response, and service management practices
- Experience mentoring engineers and supporting knowledge transfer, workforce development, training, technical capability development
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional engineering teams
- Proficiency in English and one or more regional languages is desirable
