Job Summary
Site Reliability Engineer within Platform Engineering focused on security projects: embedding security into design and infrastructure, tooling, incident response, and secure foundations for trading platforms. Collaborate across teams to make secure paths the easy path, maintain central secret management, support identity architecture at scale, and drive large security projects. Proficient in Python; Linux; Kubernetes and Docker; CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, TeamCity); OIDC/OAuth2.0; IAM; and HashiCorp Vault, with emphasis on secure defaults, observability, and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of work experience in a relevant role
- Programming experience in Python; Shell scripting is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems and container orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, TeamCity) and securing pipelines: DevSecOps practices, safe artifact ingestion, and software supply chain security
- Expertise in OIDC/OAuth2.0 and experience with IAM architecture, including implementation of authentication and authorization in complex full-stack systems
- Experience with secret management tools (preferably HashiCorp Vault); maintaining similar centralised security services is a plus
