Job Summary
Site Reliability Engineer to ensure stability of JD.com’s European e-commerce platforms and apps (monitoring, incident management, automations, deployments, reliability testing, post-mortems) with on-site work in London, UK. Collaborates with global engineering and commercial teams to balance development speed and operational stability. Requires 3+ years in DevOps/SRE, proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, Linux, scripting (Shell, Python, Go), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix), Java microservices, and middleware (MySQL, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis); English proficiency; bachelor’s degree. Preferred: eCommerce/retail experience; Chinese language skills; additional distributed-systems design experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related fields
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Linux
- Scripting in Shell, Python, or Go
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix
- Experience with Java microservices or related ops
- Experience with MySQL, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis
- Effective communication in English
