Job Summary
Site Reliability Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase focusing on building and maintaining highly available, scalable systems within Cybersecurity & Tech Controls. Lead and collaborate on deployment approaches using automated CI/CD pipelines; design and implement solutions to improve availability, reliability, and scalability; implement infrastructure as code; lead major incident response and postmortems; mentor teams in SRE/DevOps practices; require strong programming in Python/Java, and hands-on experience with cloud, observability, and container orchestration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines
- 3+ years of experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java/Spring Boot
- Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform)
- Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with SRE concepts, incident response, and disaster recovery
- Ability to collaborate in large teams and communicate effectively
