Site Reliability Engineer

Lead the development of resilient infrastructure for Booz Allen by building redundant systems, implementing monitoring, and automating routine tasks to reduce toil. You’ll work with on-prem data centers while learning the cloud, collaborate with clients, and mentor junior system administrators to improve health, stability, and reliability of the environment. Responsibilities include design/implementation of physical servers, storage systems, VMware virtual data centers (v6.x+), SAN storage, and highly available storage solutions; transforming large-scale programs to virtualized architectures; and automating tasks to minimize manual effort. The role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
