Job Summary
Site Reliability Developer 1 to join the STO team in Indore. Focus on improving observability, scalability, stability and security of Vena’s SaaS platform; serve as first point of contact into the STO team; define runbooks and SOPs; triage incidents and other operational requests; monitor service health and SLAs; identify root causes and champion fixes; work with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and DevOps tooling; collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment; report on performance metrics and participate in on-call rotations. Proficient in AWS cloud infrastructure, IaC, and backend/frontend tech stack including Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, TypeScript, React, and data/telemetry tooling (DataDog, CloudWatch, Prometheus).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in IT Operational, DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS and Azure) services
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Experience with tools such as Ansible, Build/Release Pipelines, Docker, Github, Terraform
- Developing-level knowledge of distributed systems in the cloud with observability and telemetry
- Experience with telemetry, centralized logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
- Strong collaboration in agile environments
- On-call rotation experience
