Job Summary
Site Quality Manager will interpret multi-discipline engineering and quality requirements, provide technical guidance for inspection, testing and quality services, coordinate third-party testing agencies and welder qualifications, maintain QA/QC documentation, and track welding progress using MaxTrax. The role requires experience in QA/QC within heavy industrial oil and gas, extensive knowledge of ASME/ACI/D1.1 codes, strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to work at a project site with physical requirements. Saulsbury emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity with a history of long-term EPC and heavy industrial projects; offices are located in TX.
Required Qualifications
- CWI Certification required
- Minimum of five (5) years in QA/QC in a Heavy Industrial Oil and Gas environment
- Extensive knowledge of ASME / ACI / D1.1 codes
- Ability to interpret multi-discipline engineering and quality requirements
- Experience coordinating or designating Third Party Testing agencies, welder qualifications, NDE and documentation
- Proficiency in using computers and software
- Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform site inspections and walk properties/laydown yards
- Knowledge of QA/QC reporting and documentation processes
- Track welding progress using MaxTrax program
