Job Summary
Lead site quality assurance and quality control activities by developing and implementing the Site-Specific Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plan. Conduct regular inspections and internal audits of civil, mechanical, and electrical installations while enforcing company-wide Quality Management System standards. Manage nonconformance issues through root cause analysis and corrective action planning, ensuring full compliance with NEC, IEC, and ASTM codes. Review subcontractor QA plans and maintain comprehensive documentation using the proprietary "Sunscreen" software to generate quality metrics reports. Facilitate lessons learned meetings and post-construction reviews to drive continuous improvement across engineering and procurement teams. This full-time role requires frequent travel to remote project locations and reporting to the Regional Quality Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years in utility-scale solar quality management
- Must be able to travel frequently and work on-site at remote project locations for extended periods
- In-depth knowledge of utility-scale PV systems
- In-depth knowledge of civil construction
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical codes
- In-depth knowledge of QA/QC methodologies
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership capabilities
Desired Qualifications
- Quality management certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma)
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
