Job Summary
SITE QUALITY LAB TECHNICIAN responsible for performing laboratory qualification testing and measurements per customer specifications and plant control plans; provide PPAP qualification support for new paints/products; support production with analytical problem solving and technical guidance; lead/participate in Paint-In process and liaise with Paint and plastic suppliers/customers on color matching and batch control; train operators on controls, contribute to continuous improvement, and maintain a safe, quality-focused laboratory environment; manage test methods, calibrations, data management, and reporting of results (e.g., color matching, adhesion tests) while ensuring 5S standards and overall quality improvements in automotive-related lab operations.
