Job Summary
Site QA/QC Manager oversees the quality lifecycle on a world-scale industrial gas construction project, ensuring civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical installations meet global standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities include deploying and auditing the PQP and ITPs, conducting daily field surveillance of mechanical/structural/civil/E&I activities, managing welding engineering compliance and NDT tracking, enforcing oxygen-cleanliness and cryogenic insulation standards, leading pre-inspection meetings with subcontractors, issuing NCRs and driving CAPA, and compiling contractor Quality Turnover Packages for handover to the commissioning team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical field experience
- 8+ years of QA/QC experience on large-scale industrial construction sites (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial Gas plants preferred)
- Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI, CSWIP 3.1, or equivalent) and familiarity with NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT)
- Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, API codes & standards
