Job Summary
Conduct security patrols to observe for fires, damage, hazards, and violations of company regulations. Check badges of all persons entering or leaving company entrances and inspect packages, briefcases, and other parcels in accordance with policy. Complete data logs for vehicles and personnel entering facility gates and operate automated access control and intrusion detection systems. Assist in conducting fire drills and facility evacuations while monitoring for unattended classified materials. Wear a uniform, work overtime, and participate in mandated training programs. This full-time onsite position is available for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift rotations at locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- 100% onsite availability
- Ability to work overtime
- Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
- Willingness to wear a uniform
Desired Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- Computer proficiency to perform database searches
- Prior security experience with a cleared defense contractor
- Military experience
- Law enforcement experience
