Job Summary
Lead and coordinate daily installation activities for VAPR system deployment on commercial fleet vehicles, assigning technicians based on workload and skill levels. Conduct daily briefings to align on safety, production goals, and priorities while ensuring adherence to standardized installation procedures. Track daily output against plans, monitor cycle times, and implement corrective actions to maintain throughput and vehicle flow. Serve as the primary on-site operational point of contact for the customer, coordinating vehicle staging, tool readiness, and logistics to prevent workflow interruptions. Enforce PPE requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards, escalating recurring issues to engineering teams. Provide hands-on support during peak demand and track daily reporting on production, quality, and safety metrics.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in automotive installation, fleet upfit, or similar field operations
- Experience leading field teams of 8–16 technicians
- Ability to read, understand, and enforce SOPs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform hands-on technical tasks within the installation process when required
- English Communication: All employees must be able to communicate effectively in English during operations
- Work Authorization: All employees must have valid legal authorization to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Fleet installation or vehicle modification programs
- Experience with structured production environments (takt-based or high-volume)
- Multi-site deployment experience
- Experience working with enterprise customers
