Job Summary
Launch and manage nuclear fuel fabrication projects from concept through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets are met. Gather strategic information for multi-functional teams and produce business plans to meet corporate financial targets. Oversee portfolios of new products and large-scale projects while coordinating across engineering, operations, quality, licensing, and commercial teams. Lead recurring reviews, status meetings, and readiness assessments; review baselines, design changes, and procurement plans. Manage risks, mitigation strategies, and executive escalations. Support customer engagement through technical discussions and schedule negotiations. Promote continuous improvement in project management processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge in a particular field of specialization
- Ability to complete complex projects
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers
- Good problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Ability to change priorities quickly and confront issues directly
- Demonstrated commitment to nuclear safety culture, human performance principles, and conservative decision-making

Desired Qualifications
- Strong background in nuclear industry project management, ideally with experience in construction of LWR fuel fabrication, fuel development, or advanced nuclear products
- Working knowledge of NRC regulatory frameworks, nuclear QA programs, and commercial nuclear customer expectations
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi disciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and qualification projects
- Familiarity with product development lifecycles, technology readiness levels (TRL), and commercialization of engineered products in regulated environments
- Experience developing and managing detailed project schedules, cost estimates, risk registers, and resource plans using modern PM tools
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing workflows, and quality documentation to support project planning and execution
- Strong vendor and supply chain coordination skills, particularly for specialized nuclear materials and high-specification manufacturing processes
- Leadership experience building high-performing project teams and developing early career project managers
- Professional certifications (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent) strongly preferred
