Job Summary
Site Planner for CAPEX delivery projects responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules across multiple CAPEX projects, defining timelines and critical paths, tracking progress, performing schedule analysis (including critical path and look-ahead planning), and producing regular schedule performance reports. Collaborates with Project Engineers and multidisciplinary teams, interfaces with contractors to ensure accurate schedule inputs, and supports governance and reporting within JM’s stage-gate framework. Requires proficiency with planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and a background in engineering, project management, or related discipline; experience in chemical process, manufacturing, or COMAH environments; emphasizes safe sequencing and alignment with permits and operational constraints. Willingness to work in hybrid/onsite settings where applicable and contribute to an inclusive, sustainable technology culture under Johnson Matthey.
Required Qualifications
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline
- Proficiency with planning tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Proven experience in project planning or project controls within CAPEX or engineering environments
- Strong understanding of full project lifecycle delivery
- Experience in chemical process, manufacturing, or COMAH environment
