SITE PHYSICIAN: Spanish Bilingual

Site Physician responsible for the professional, organizational, and administrative aspects of providing quality medical care at CLHC/Day Treatment Center. Direct the medical care and treatment of patients and oversee the care rendered by the interdisciplinary team. Collaborates with site NP and community-based providers; lead the medical presence during the start of care events; participate in utilization review and ambulatory medical services; conduct patient assessments and treat patients in Day Treatment Center and at patients' homes; facilitate medical education programs for staff and trainees; coordinate with subspecialists and community physicians for care planning; participate in multidisciplinary meetings and preventive health/immunization programs; ensure compliance with quality assurance and OSHA guidelines; travel between sites as needed. Requires NY medical license, MD from an accredited school, and board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (and geriatrics experience preferred). Weekend/after-hours availability not specified; salary ranges reflect experience and credentials (site physician bilingual in Spanish).
