Job Summary
Conduct on-site waste and environmental audits at customer locations, assessing current practices and identifying improvement opportunities. Analyse findings to produce clear reports, performance scores, and practical recommendations that support new business development and drive continuous improvement for existing accounts. Build strong relationships with customers while collaborating with Business Development, Account Management, and Supply Chain teams to translate audit data into effective actions. Maintain accurate audit records and CRM data, contributing to the ongoing development of the proprietary Site Audit Tool. Requires a full UK driving licence, willingness for UK-wide site travel, and experience in waste management or environmental compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in waste management, recycling or environmental compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to add value
- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel regularly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience carrying out site audits, inspections or compliance assessments
- Knowledge of waste legislation, recycling best practice and environmental compliance (e.g. WEEE, Batteries, Packaging EPR)
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce desirable) and digital audit tools
- Experience working alongside sales, account management or supply chain teams
