Job Summary
Site Operations Manager responsible for on-site operations for a manned ISR program, overseeing a deployed team and ensuring regulatory compliance, flight operations, and operational readiness across CONUS/OCONUS locations. Leads daily planning, coordination with Lead Pilots, management of facilities and subcontractors, audits for Government metrics, and deployment planning with timely reporting to CONUS/OCONUS leadership; requires US citizenship, active clearance with potential upgrade to TS/SCI, and willingness to deploy internationally for extended rotations. Strong emphasis on leadership, military-operations knowledge, and ability to manage deployed staff and operational controls in a high-demand defense environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- minimum 3 years of management experience with an operations focus
- experience leading or managing deployed/OCONUS teams
- ability to obtain passport and deploy internationally
- ability to deploy OCONUS to Hazard/Hardship locations for 90+ days at a time
- ability to meet DoD and program-specific medical/training requirements (CRC)
- knowledge of ISR airborne/geospatial collection systems
- strong understanding of military operations and joint planning processes
- ability to communicate effectively with program management and customers
- proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
