Job Summary
Greet customers, members, and visitors personally, resolving routine administrative requests independently and escalating security or IT matters as needed. Manage day-to-day office operations by stocking supplies, running opening/closing procedures, and tracking facility work orders through completion. Own vendor relationships with cleaning and maintenance teams, confirming delivered work meets standards and coordinating schedules to avoid disrupting classified activities. Verify approved visitor authorization requests, issue badges, and conduct routine walk-throughs of entry points to flag security concerns promptly. Coordinate site events and executive logistics while maintaining high standards for the site environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing, hospitality, or office administration role
- A demonstrated habit of noticing problems or gaps before being told about them
- Strong organizational follow-through
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Comfort operating in, or genuine willingness to learn, a defense/security-adjacent environment
- Ability to work on-site full-time during business hours
- Ability to remain stationed at a front desk or reception area for extended periods during business hours
- Capability to lift and carry up to 25–35 lbs
- United States citizenship
- Capability of maintaining eligibility up to the Top Secret/SCI level within 180 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience coordinating or managing vendor or contractor relationships
- Familiarity with visitor control, badging, or access-control systems (VARs, DISS)
- Genuine interest in growing into a sales, operations, or security role at Nooks
- Experience at a cleared facility
- Experience in flexible workspace, co-working, or premium hospitality environments
