Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on mobile equipment following SOP service schedules and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems. Diagnose reactive maintenance issues, service transmissions, engines, and brakes, and manage parts inventory to keep repairs moving efficiently. Utilize computer systems to log maintenance, track equipment history, and maintain accurate records while keeping the shop organized. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Fundamental knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems
- Ability to test, adjust, and repair mobile equipment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing mobile equipment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Comfortable working in dusty conditions
- Comfortable working in all types of weather
- Comfortable working around quarry high walls and pits
- Comfortable working from elevated positions or in tunnels for extended periods
- Mechanically inclined
- Safety-minded
