Site Manager - YHP

Job Summary

Provide leadership and oversight to frontline teams to ensure the delivery of trauma-informed, youth-centered care for individuals aged 13–17. Support staff in implementing harm reduction, crisis response, de-escalation, and safety planning practices while conducting supervision, performance management, and coaching. Oversee individualized youth care plans, programming, and transitions to promote wellness, life skills, and positive outcomes. Recruit, orient, train, and schedule staff to ensure effective 24/7 program coverage, and manage operational responsibilities including budgeting, payroll, reporting, and database administration. Monitor program quality and compliance with accreditation, licensing, CARF, and occupational health and safety standards. Review and respond to critical incidents, concerns, and grievances in alignment with organizational policies. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with families, community partners, and internal teams to support integrated service delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Child and Youth Care (CYC), Social Work, Human Services, or related field
  • Standard First Aid and CPR
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and vehicle
  • Proof of vehicle insurance (min. $2 million liability), registration and 3-year drivers abstract
  • 4+ years' experience supporting marginalized youth and vulnerable populations
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably within a residential or community-based setting
  • Knowledge and experience in harm reduction, trauma-informed, resiliency, and solution-focused practices
  • Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills, capable of remaining calm in high-pressure situations
  • Experience supporting youth facing complex barriers, including mental health, substance use, poverty, trauma, LGBTQ2S+ identities, and newcomer/refugee experiences
  • Proficient in MS Office and database applications
  • Prior to successful employment with e4c, applicants are required to submit a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Intervention Record Check
