Job Summary
Lead and oversee all daily site operations, including warehouse, inventory management, distribution, and transportation coordination. Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and regulatory requirements while driving operational excellence through best practices and process improvements. Maintain accurate inventory levels, analyze performance data and KPIs to identify trends, and manage site financial performance including budgeting and cost control. Inspire and develop supervisors and staff, forecast staffing needs, and adjust resources in real time to monitor inbound and outbound workflows. Build strong relationships with clients and vendors, execute loss prevention practices, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse, distribution, and transportation operations
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with WMS, TMS, and logistics systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience building SOPs and managing KPIs
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Forklift Certification required
- Train-the-Trainer certification required
- Steel-toe boots required
- Safety vest and additional PPE provided by BWT must be worn as required
Desired Qualifications
- SAP experience is a plus
