Job Summary
Lead and oversee all daily site operations, including warehouse, inventory management, distribution, and transportation coordination. Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and regulatory requirements. Drive operational excellence by developing and implementing best practices, SOPs, and process improvements using Lean Six Sigma principles. Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage site financial performance through budgeting and cost control, and analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities. Inspire and coach supervisors and staff to build a high-performing team while forecasting workload and staffing needs. Monitor inbound and outbound workflow, adjusting resources in real time to ensure optimal coverage and productivity. Set clear shift expectations, lead daily operational meetings, and track accountability for key performance metrics. Ensure strong asset management and loss prevention practices are consistently executed. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility required based on business demands.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse, distribution, and transportation operations
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with WMS, TMS, and logistics systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience building SOPs and managing KPIs
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Forklift Certification required
- Train-the-Trainer certification required
- Steel-toe boots required
- Safety vest and additional PPE provided by BWT must be worn as required
Desired Qualifications
- SAP experience is a plus
