Job Summary
Oversee field operations for building automation projects by serving as the technical point of contact for customers and trades. Provide technical assistance to the commissioning team, prioritize installation tasks, and participate in commissioning meetings while developing customer relationships. Assist with new project estimating, examine P&ID drawings to develop instrument lists, and inspect panel installations to verify completion and identify discrepancies. Generate daily site logs, coordinate commissioning schedules, and support MEP subcontractors through procurement and equipment handoffs. Requires onsite commissioning experience and familiarity with HVAC systems.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Degree in a related field
- Previous Project Management or Site Management experience
- Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers
- Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Microsoft Project
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems
- Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems
Desired Qualifications
- Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is a plus
- Onsite commissioning experience is a plus
