Job Summary
Oversee field operations for building automation projects by serving as the technical point of contact for general contractors and trades. Provide technical assistance to the commissioning team, prioritize installation tasks, and develop customer relationships while inspecting instrument and electrical panel installations. Assist with new project estimating, developing procurement logs, and generating daily site logs to convey progress and conditions. Coordinate commissioning schedules, verify equipment handoffs, and support MEP subcontractors through project management activities.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Degree in a related field
- Previous Project Management or Site Management experience
- Experience with Low Voltage Installation
- Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers
- Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Microsoft Project
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems
- Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems
- Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation)
- Onsite commissioning experience
