Job Summary
Manage site teams, work activities, and resources to meet contract requirements across multiple locations in Workington, Whitehaven, and surrounding areas. Lead site personnel and sub-contractors while collating preconstruction information and ensuring all documentation is accurate. Identify hazards, implement risk assessments, and ensure compliance with legal and statutory health and safety requirements. Create and manage master programmes for live sites, assist in preparing estimates and bids, and deliver refurbishment works within budget and zero defects. Hold a Full UK driving licence and SMSTS qualification to travel daily and support the Contracts Manager in delivering social value to communities.
Required Qualifications
- experience in Planned refurbishment Works, within Social Housing/tenanted properties
- good working knowledge of Internal and External refits
- Managing a few sites at any given time
- Commercial awareness ensuring costs are meeting budget requirements
- Great communication skills to build relationships with the Client and Tenants alike
- Full UK driving licence
- SMSTS or associated NVQ
- confident with IT
- proficient in MS Office
- DBS check
