Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day site operations including inventory control, dispatch coordination, and customer communication to ensure efficient transportation flow and on-time performance. Resolve service disruptions, manage urgent operational situations, and supervise dispatch staff while maintaining safety compliance and accurate real-time inventory visibility. Coordinate carrier rates, track active orders, and analyze operational data to drive process improvements, reduce costs, and meet KPIs. Balance cost efficiency with service quality to support profitability through effective resource management and continuous workflow planning.

- Budget awareness and cost control support experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to remain composed and effective in fast-paced environments
- Strong organization, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills
- Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or fleet operations
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in an operational environment
- Experience coordinating carriers, drivers, dispatch functions, and customer communications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet operational deadlines consistently
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), inventory systems, and Microsoft Office
- Experience analyzing operational performance data and driving process improvements
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance in transportation/logistics
