Job Summary
Take ownership of all field activities from startup to completion, managing project safety, quality, schedule, and jobsite logistics while leading the on-site team and coordinating subcontractors. Walk the project daily to verify work conformance with standards, review issued drawings, and ensure construction aligns with plans and specifications. Communicate regularly with the project team, conduct subcontractor coordination meetings, and assist in developing scopes of work, schedules, and estimates. Prepare daily reports, safety audits, and cost-to-complete documents while reviewing project budgets with the Project Manager. This role may involve a dual capacity as both site manager and project manager, overseeing projects exceeding $10 million in value. Required Qualifications
- minimum of 10 years of superintendent/site management experience
- combination of college education and experience equivalent to 8 years
- Project experience should include a minimum of two projects with a value in excess of 10 million each
- experience in project buyout
- writing scopes of work for subcontractors/vendors
- building and updating computer generated schedules
- preparing RFI's
- leading project coordination meetings at the site
- entering changes to the project for the customer and subcontractors
- basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing
- spreadsheet
- e-mail applications
- project management software
- Microsoft project
