Job Summary
Oversee maintenance and installation projects across Great Britain and Europe, coordinating handovers, client documentation, and witness testing for LV and HV switchgear commissioning. Lead engineers and contractors to ensure efficient execution while managing Permit to Work processes, site inductions, and toolbox talks. Champion QHSE best practices by conducting risk assessments, enforcing safe systems of work, and driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance. Monitor project progress, address operational risks, and maintain strong client relationships to maximize profitability. Support the ongoing development of engineering teams and escalate concerns to senior leadership as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the data centre industry
- SMSTS certification
- IOSH Managing Safely certification
- Strong experience coordinating on-site projects and working with clients, contractors, vendors, and project managers
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical qualifications or an electrical engineering background
