Job Summary
Oversee maintenance, installation, testing, and commissioning activities across customer sites in Great Britain and Europe, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Supervise employees, engineers, subcontractors, and contractors while managing project progress, reporting status updates to management and clients. Conduct testing and commissioning for LV and HV switchgear systems, enforce Permit to Work protocols, and lead safety inductions and toolbox talks. Review subcontractor performance, complete project documentation, and investigate accidents or near misses to maintain a zero-harm environment. Prepare weekly activity reports and reduce site revisits through effective planning.
Required Qualifications
- HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of LV/HV switchgear testing and commissioning activities
- Prince 2 or equivalent in Project Management
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in site management
- IOSH Managing Safely certification
- SMSTS certification
