Job Summary
Site Manager overseeing store operations with daily/weekly/monthly/year-to-date sales analysis, ensuring customer service excellence, supervising and coaching employees, monitoring performance, minimizing inventory shrinkage, ensuring timely and accurate merchandise receiving and storage, maintaining a safe work environment with HazMat training, managing attendance to minimize workers’ comp injuries, enforcing company policies, interfacing with the District office for procurement-card controls, and negotiating with vendors on pricing, inventory and service. Requires leadership experience in automotive after-market service and a track record of strong customer focus, communication, initiative, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with TAMS POS system and cash handling, inventory management, and safety/compliance responsibilities are expected.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school, and/or college degree a plus
- Demonstrated leadership in the automotive after-market service industry (preferably in automotive parts department, dealership, jobber or retail establishment)
- Working knowledge of the organizations the store services
- Strong leadership to create a high-performance team via customer focus, open communication, coaching and feedback
- Personal drive, self-motivation and initiative to accomplish company goals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to insulate store facilities, equipment, inventory and physical assets
- Willingness and ability to learn
- Analytical problem solving skills
- Capable of operating TAMS POS system and cataloging
- Ability to process cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Ability to lift/move parts and boxes up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk for entire shift
- Ability to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and reach upper shelves with ladder when necessary
- Ability to move heavy equipment with moving aids such as hand trucks, dollies, hydraulic lifts
