Job Summary
Manage day-to-day site operations on passive fire protection projects, including fire stopping, fire doors, and compartmentation works. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure efficient project delivery while liaising with clients and residents to minimize disruption in occupied properties. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure all works comply with current fire safety legislation, industry standards, and client specifications. Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, RAMS, and compliance documentation, and promote strict health & safety standards across all activities. Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly. This role supports the delivery of high-quality fire safety upgrades in residential and social housing sectors, with a focus on full regulatory compliance and on-time, on-budget project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within Passive Fire Protection
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
- CSCS card (Manager level)
- A valid UK driving licence
- Willing to travel nationwide
Desired Qualifications
- First Aid at Work certification (preferred)
- Experience with fire door inspections and installations
- Knowledge of FIRAS, BM TRADA, or similar accreditation schemes
