Job Summary
Lead day-to-day site operations by managing programme sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and quality control while ensuring projects remain on schedule, budget, and safe. Conduct health and safety inductions, toolbox talks, and hazard management alongside daily site record-keeping, including diaries, progress photos, and flagging RFIs. Coordinate deliveries, resolve on-site issues, and liaise professionally with clients and consultants. Requires 5+ years of site management experience in New Zealand, current Site Safe certification, and a clean driver's licence. Full-time role in Wanaka with vehicle, fuel card, and laptop provided.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience running residential or commercial construction sites in New Zealand
- Current Site Safe certification
- solid working knowledge of NZ H&S legislation
- Confidence with site management platforms
- Procore
- Aconex
- similar site management platforms
- A full, clean NZ driver's licence
Desired Qualifications
- experienced Leading Hand ready to step up into a Site Manager role
- A relevant trade qualification (carpentry or similar)
