Job Summary
Monitor medical support staff to ensure optimal patient care, team coverage, and assignment completion while managing patient care teams under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations. Participate in regular team meetings and education sessions to contribute to a collaborative approach to patient care. This on-site direct service role requires a Certified Medical Assistant with three years of ambulatory care experience, electronic medical record proficiency, and current CPR certification. Crusader Community Health serves the Rock River Valley area with comprehensive primary health care for all people in need.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved program for Medical Assisting
- Passed certification exam through AAMA, NHA, and/or AMT
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association
- 3+ years previous experience in ambulatory care, hospital, or public health
- Experience utilizing an electronic medical record
Desired Qualifications
- Strong adult-health, medical/surgical, pediatric, and/or women's health experience
- One-two years of management and leadership experience in direct patient care
