Job Summary
As the Site Maintenance & Reliability Leader, you will drive innovation in specialty chemical solutions by providing strategic leadership in developing and executing a comprehensive Maintenance and Reliability Strategy. You will lead long-range financial planning, compliance efforts, and operational performance enhancements across both the Wickliffe and Brecksville sites. Key responsibilities include executing maintenance cost management initiatives, leading safety and reliability programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integration of Maintenance and Reliability principles in new projects. The role demands exceptional leadership, experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within chemical plants, and the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team toward operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering.
- 10+ years of operational experience within a chemical plant in a maintenance or reliability engineering role.
- 5+ years demonstrated leadership experience through leading/managing cross-functional teams (preferably across multiple sites)
- 3+ years of demonstrated leadership experience as a Champion for change.
- Experience with applicable building codes with a NFPA-NEC, API, or ASME certification.
- Detailed knowledge of maintenance & reliability work process (planning, scheduling, logistics, etc.)
- Exceptional leadership and people management abilities, inspiring and motivating teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving operational excellence and process improvements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders at all levels, and building relationships with site leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and adhering to timelines. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
