Oversee daily rail switching, track maintenance, and transloading operations while maintaining strict safety compliance and regulatory adherence. Serve as the primary contact for employees and customers, managing workforce planning, payroll, fuel, and equipment costs to ensure operational excellence. Lead coaching efforts for staff development, coordinate preventive maintenance programs, and analyze performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Complete required safety reports, performance evaluations, and operational documentation on time. Support hiring and onboarding activities while managing a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. Travel up to 10% as needed for operational support.
