Job Summary
Site Lead Tactical Mission Networks (TMN) – Eastern Europe: serves as the senior contractor representative at the OCONUS site, providing day-to-day leadership, direction, and accountability for contractor personnel; acts as the primary liaison between on-site staff, USASOC units, and CONUS program management; oversees TMN installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance; provides technical authority on TMN architecture, systems integration, and capability delivery; ensures operational readiness, documents all maintenance activities, and coordinates with unit S6/J6 and host nation counterparts; supports exercises, operations, and training, and coordinates logistics, scheduling, and resource management; mentors and manages site personnel, ensures security compliance (INFOSEC/OPSEC), and maintains performance evaluations; maintains strong stakeholder relationships with military customers, host nation personnel, and interagency partners; must meet TS/SCI level security requirements and be prepared for OCONUS deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Business, or related discipline or equivalent military education and experience
- 7+ years of experience in technical operations, network systems, and/or military operational support roles
- Prior U.S. military service with experience operating in or supporting OCONUS environments; SOF experience preferred
- Active TS clearance (TS/SCI preferred) required for the role
- U.S. citizenship for work on DoD contracts
- Strong leadership experience managing teams in high-pressure, austere environments
- Technical proficiency with communications systems, tactical networks, or C2 infrastructure relevant to Special Operations
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills; ability to operate with autonomy and make time-sensitive decisions
- Knowledge of DoD security directives, SOFA, and host nation engagement concepts
- Ability to meet medical, physical, and administrative requirements for OCONUS deployment
- Understanding of military operational planning processes and unit structures
- Prior experience supporting USASOC, USSOCOM, or related organizations (desired)
- Familiarity with TMN architectures and SOF C2 systems (desired)
- Experience managing contractor teams or serving as a site lead on a DoD program in forward/OCONUS locations (desired)
- Knowledge of SOFAs and OCONUS contractor compliance requirements (desired)
- Force protection planning and emergency action procedures in an OCONUS environment (desired)
