Job Summary
Monitor premises, enforce regulations, and patrol client sites to maintain a safe environment while managing access control. Supervise Security Officers and Lead Officers by ensuring post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and reports are filed. Coach personnel, conduct inspections, and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities. Respond to emergencies by notifying authorities, utilizing security devices, and applying rapid judgment. Submit various reports, file logs, and prepare correspondence as required. Work full-time in Denver, CO, earning $23.68-$27.33 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Above average computer / technology skills
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
- Great attention to detail
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
- Willingness to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Knowledge of security operations with an emphasis on patrol, inspection, and response services
- Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
- Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls
- Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
- Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Willingness to work overtime without advance notice
