Job Summary
Site IT Lead for manufacturing operations, partnering with Plant Managers and site leadership to drive demand for IT services, ensure day-to-day manufacturing and quality operations are enabled by TGS technologies, manage portfolio delivery for plants, maintain regulatory compliance and project governance, and lead cross-functional collaboration between Site IT, Plant Management, and vendors. Responsibilities include building a strategic IT-OT partnership, planning joint initiatives, measuring benefits of IT investments, owning SLAs, coordinating with Info Sec and external vendors, driving technology-enabled improvements, and guiding a local IT team to support plant operations and outsourced support. Requires deep manufacturing environment knowledge, strong stakeholder management, and experience leading changes in a matrixed organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years' technical background - infrastructure, PC server, firewall, network, development, or manufacturing execution systems in Manufacturing Setup
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, business or a related field is strongly preferred
- Accomplished in multiple process and technology capabilities across Manufacturing ideally in the Med device sector
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead service providers, remotely
- Ability to influence and break down silos within an organization as well across organizations
- Ability to communicate complex business / technical challenges in a simplified manner
- Familiarity with continuous improvement and project management approaches, tools, and phases
- Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods
- Highly collaborative work style which includes working effectively across all organizational levels
- Strong ability to work collaboratively the BD Way, as part of a team and on own initiative
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and in overcoming ambiguity
