Job Summary
SITE IT OPERATIONS ENGINEER responsible for day-to-day IT/IS operations on site, including infrastructure, networks, telephony, servers, backup and security; deploy and support locally managed IS solutions; lead or contribute to IT/IS projects; participate in information security risk assessment and incident management; manage hardware inventory, backups, and site IT documentation; provide user training and proximity support to plant users; may manage subcontractors and assist in local IT budgeting; role requires Bachelor-level IT or related experience and relevant IT certifications and end‐user support capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor in Sciences/Business Administration or equivalent experience in IT
- IT certifications (operating system, network, etc)
- Experience in operational managment of IT infrastructure in an industrial environment
- End user support (expertise and communication)
- Proficiency in deploying and supporting IT/IS solutions at site
- Ability to participate in IT/IS projects and budget discussions
- Knowledge of information security risk assessment and treatment
