Job Summary
The Site IT Administrator at Teledyne Technologies leads on-site IT for a 160-user manufacturing facility, delivering hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and approved software while ensuring ITAR, SOX, and corporate security compliance. Responsibilities include managing on-site and hybrid infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, AD/identity services, file/print), patching and lifecycle management, imaging and deployment, incident resolution, and collaboration with centralized IT teams to execute standards and projects. The role requires independent operation, documentation accuracy, asset tracking, and proactive identification of risks and technical debt within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive IT support and systems administration experience, ideally in a manufacturing or regulated environment
- Hands-on experience with Windows desktop and server environments, Active Directory and Group Policy
- Network fundamentals (switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)
- Endpoint lifecycle management and patching
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools for incident, request, and change workflows
- Experience with PDQ (Deploy and/or Inventory) or comparable tools for endpoint software deployment, patching, and inventory management
- US Citizenship Required
- Ability to obtain a BATFE Possessor Permit after start date
- Experience operating in ITAR and facility access controls
- Strong documentation and asset-tracking skills
- Ability to work independently as the senior on-site IT resource
- Compliance and security controls alignment with SOX ITGC activities
