Job Summary
Site Intelligence Lead responsible for field-based site surveys across the U.S., collecting architectural layout, structural features, and basic building systems data to support feasibility budgeting and design/costing efforts. Responsibilities include conducting visual and measured surveys of commercial properties, producing organized notes, sketches, photographs, and data for internal feasibility assessments, summarizing site findings for design and costing teams, uploading data into internal platforms, and maintaining a flexible travel schedule. Requires independent work on the road, strong documentation accuracy, effective communication with brokers/landlords/clients, and the ability to annotate drawings from field observations; travel constituting approximately 70–80% of the schedule with overnight stays. Based out of Hartford Studio with travel across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in field-based construction, design, real estate, or related roles
- Strong attention to detail with high standards for documentation accuracy
- Basic understanding of commercial interiors and building systems (MEP, structural, layout)
- Confident and polished communicator, capable of interfacing with real estate professionals onsite
- Able to interpret and annotate architectural drawings with field observations
- Self-starter who thrives on travel, autonomy, and managing logistics independently
- Tech-savvy with mobile documentation tools, photo organization, and file sharing platforms
- Based near a major airport hub with reliable regional and national connections
