Job Summary
Site Inspector – Mechanical for Abu Dhabi Projects focused on construction-site inspection of works, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and HSSE/quality policies. Works with supervision teams and Project Managers to manage client expectations, review contractor submittals and work programs, perform quality inspections, monitor non-conformities, assist with commissioning and defect-liability activities, and help prepare Take-Over and Defect Liability Certificates while ensuring accurate reporting and documentation in both Arabic and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred
- Knowledge of construction supervision services
- Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
- Good communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Strong attention to details
- Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English
- 5+ years of experience in Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry in a top tier regional / multinational consultancy firm
- Experience with site inspections on large supervision sites, including inspection of works progress, quality inspections and HSSE inspections
