Job Summary
Conduct field inspections of damaged properties and mitigation work to support compensation recommendations. Document impacts from fires, floods, and land loss with photos, measurements, coordinates, and Xactimate values. Perform onsite inspections, collect photos and evidence. Document damages and mitigation work accurately. Produce inspection reports using Xactimate. Validate loss eligibility and required repairs. Upload completed reports within required time frames. Preference given to candidates who can obtain FEMA Badge/clearance and who are proficient in disaster-related loss assessment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 10+ years in construction inspection, insurance adjusting, disaster assessment, or damage valuation
- Proficient in using Xactimate to structure POLs and assess damages
- Proficient in using claims management software and related tech tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors and interact professionally with claimants and stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain FEMA Badge (Public Trust clearance)
