Job Summary
Deploy Kerry's Hygiene and Sanitation Standards at the Murarrie manufacturing site in collaboration with the Regional Sanitation Team. Establish relationships with cross-functional teams to integrate robust hygiene practices into plant operations. Develop a Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and train cross-functional teams, while creating, validating, and deploying Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SOPs) at process lines. Conduct facility sanitation assessments, assist with risk-based gap analysis, and support corrective actions to ensure compliance with Kerry's Global Standards. Complete annual microbiological and allergen cleaning and sanitation validations for manual cleaning methods, Clean In Place (CIP), Assisted Cleaning Systems (ACS), and other automated cleaning technologies. Prepare reports, presentations, and operational documents as required. Reporting to the FSQ Manager, this role leads the "Stay Safe, Stay Clean" agenda to strengthen food safety culture and reduce risk.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Food Safety experience in an Operations Quality role
- Experience with prerequisite programs, HACCP, Hazard analysis, and risk assessments
- Ability to communicate with cross functional teams and implement improvement programs
- Degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Science/Microbiology
- Outstanding Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
- Policy implementation: Aptitude for understanding, interpreting, and applying policies and procedures
- Specialised Knowledge Application: Ability to learn and effectively utilise specialized knowledge to enhance sanitation practices on-site
