Job Summary
Site Health and Safety Advisor to support the Group Health & Safety function and embed a positive safety culture across the organisation. Responsible for delivering and maintaining health, safety and environmental programmes in accordance with legislation and approved Codes of Practice, developing and implementing H&S improvement plans, leading事故 investigations within 24 hours, coordinating regular toolbox talks, audits, and interactions with external agencies (e.g., Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency). Drives risk reduction, compliance, and training across manufacturing operations, ensuring CPD and competency of HS&E staff, and supporting site-wide safety governance and policy development.
Required Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Educated to A’ level standard or relevant work experience
- COSHH understanding and experience
- Experience leading Health, Safety and Environment teams
- Strong knowledge of H&S processes and H&S Management Systems
