Job Summary
Audit vendor payables for accuracy and obtain approvals prior to payment. Execute daily customer and vendor contract requirements, identifying accessorial activity and ensuring necessary documentation. Provide analytical support to managers, supervisors, and operations personnel regarding labor efficiency, productivity, and performance measurements. Prepare month-end close accruals, reclass journal entries, and reconcile purchase orders to support expense recognition. Generate daily and weekly labor analysis reports and own balance sheet account reconciliations. Collaborate with Accounting, Commercial Finance, HR, and Operations departments on a daily basis. This operational role supports the broader DHL Supply Chain network, requiring a strategic thinker to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accurate financial reporting across national sites.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in business or equivalent 2 years equivalent work experience
- Willingness to travel

- Bachelor's Degree in business
- Some knowledge of Finance or accounting
- Logistics industry experience
- Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles
- Basic accounting knowledge; P&L and balance sheet
- Effective communication skills; verbal & written
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels; team player
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and time management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic PC skill proficiency, including MS Office
- Strong presentation skillset
