Job Summary
Site Finance Manager at AMB (Stryker) leading finance at the Waghäusel site with ownership of financial reporting, adherence to corporate policies, internal controls, and coordination with US/EMEA finance teams. Responsible for financial close, statutory considerations, budgeting/forecasting, cost structure/P&L oversight for the site, and driving process improvements, ERP enhancements, and cross-functional collaboration. Leads a junior finance team, partners with site leadership, and supports integration of AMB into Stryker, including demand planning and pricing analytics. Requires German/English proficiency, German GAAP and US GAAP knowledge, and hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Hybrid work model with regular on-site presence 2-3 days/week in Waghäusel and other German locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- At least 1 year in leadership or managerial role in an international environment
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and US GAAP
- Experience in financial close, reporting, compliance, and internal controls
- ERP experience (Bruni Supply Chain Solutions or similar)
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities
- High integrity, reliability, and resilience
