Job Summary
Lead and direct all on-site engineering operations to ensure maximum production efficiency and equipment reliability. Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies while managing cross-functional projects to support product quality and operational improvements. Mentor a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and embedding best practices throughout the site. Control engineering budgets and monitor expenditure to deliver cost-effective operations, driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives aligned to business objectives. This senior leadership role is central to ensuring engineering excellence across the site, delivering high levels of reliability, efficiency, and safety within a dynamic FMCG manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior engineering management role within food manufacturing, FMCG, or fresh produce environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems relevant to manufacturing
- Track record of leading and developing teams, delivering engineering projects, and driving operational performance
- Excellent understanding of health and safety compliance in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in CMMS systems, Microsoft Office, and financial data analysis/reporting
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and communication skills
