Job Summary
Lead complex frontend projects to establish Vercel as a gold standard for brand and product marketing. Collaborate with growth and marketing teams to A/B test landing pages, design and implement scalable applications and APIs, and contribute to the design system adhering to industry-leading UX standards. Continuously improve engineering processes and troubleshoot issues, while optimizing for conversion, speed, and reliability throughout the user journey. This role requires a strong foundation in frontend engineering, particularly with React and Next.js, alongside experience in A/B testing and SEO best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Next.js and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks
- Full stack experience (comfortable designing or consuming APIs and working with various services)
- Deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Proven knowledge of A/B testing concepts and conversion rate optimization
- Stellar cross-functional communication skills
- Eye for good user experiences and a knack for 'getting the visuals right'
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Vercel platform
- Comfortable using Tailwind CSS
- Background in web design or interest in design systems
- Interest in developer tooling domain
